Complementing this delight are the crisp French fries, which locals agree are some of the best around, flipping the script on traditional fast-food fare.
Hungry patrons also applaud the outstanding hamburgers; many declare them the best they've ever tasted, thanks to soft, melt-in-your-mouth bread and juicy patties. The casual vibe is ideal for a laid-back meal with friends or family, making it a popular hangout for both lunch and dinner. Most Disliked
While most experiences here are fantastic, occasional comments suggest a desire for more diverse menu options. Some diners hope for additional specialty items alongside the fan-favorites, though the existing offerings are undeniably well-prepared and satisfying.
Another aspect mentioned is the limited seating during peak hours. As a beloved local spot, it sometimes fills up quickly, and finding a table can be a challenge. However, many agree that the experience is worth the wait, making the call to enjoy a meal here clear despite any minor inconveniences.

Hidden Baton Rouge Gem: A Culinary Delight! I recently discovered a hidden gem in Baton Rouge that I can't stop raving about! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the owner, a wonderfully kind and friendly person who truly makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a fantastic dining experience. The food here is nothing short of exceptional! I’ve tried various dishes, but the shrimp Poboy has quickly become my favorite. It’s incredibly delicious, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor, truly the best Poboy I've ever had! The French fries are equally impressive; they are crispy, golden, and far superior to those from fast-food chains like McDonald's. Each visit has been a delightful experience, and I’ve never left disappointed. If you’re looking for a place with mouthwatering food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a must-try! Whether you're craving a juicy hamburger or the delectable grilled shrimp Poboy, you won't be disappointed. Don’t miss out on this Baton Rouge treasure!

I've been here twice. I've tried the shrimp poboy, philly cheese steak sandwich, the fries, the ahh-mazing onion rings and the delectable fried mushrooms. All superb. All cooked and seasoned to perfection. Don't let the pricing shy you away. I almost did and I'm glad I didn't. This is the kind of local spot, just up the street or around the corner, that you'd want to stick around. If, like myself, you sometimes feel a little homesick for Metairie and NOLA, then you're in luck, because this place delivers on that much needed taste and feel of home. Good people, friendly and attentive service, generous portions and that combination of warmth and hospitality which can't be taught and instantly makes you feel like family. Call them up, place an order, stop on in and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I am not a foodie or a lover of red meat, but every now and then I crave a hamburger. Baton Rouge Po-Boy, which has been in business six months, was a good find. The owner is smiling and friendly. The restaurant is a nice, clean, competitively-priced, neighborhood eatery. The hamburger was delicious. I can't believe I ate the whole thing! Give it a try next time you are craving a big, fat, juicy, delicious burger and real french fries. You won't be disappointed. And it wasn't noisy! A definite +++++.
